Photo advice needed. Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Uyuni La Paz, - 03/04/2006
Hope this isn't too late a response. I can't tell you what to shoot...your vision will have to determine that. Take a shot whenever something you see makes you jump and utter 'wow' - that's what I do anyway. Try not to weight yourself down with too much gear and avoid switching lenses when you're in the middle of it all - you want to focus on catching shots. Light defines the subject - try to shoot landscapes when the sun is low and the weather interesting, watch how light is bouncing off your subject's face, etc.
